Pega Pulse Scheduling Assistant

Enables you to schedule a message on any case type. Allows to schedule/reject and enable/disable it for any post type.

By using or submitting listings via the Pega Marketplace, you agree to our Terms of Use.

Overview

Pega Pulse Scheduling Assistant helps to schedule a message in a future point of time. We don't need to wait to notify a party / member on a case when you know the actual message.

This will be helpful when we want to make an announcement to the application users where pulse is already included with application key as context. Also helps to post progress related messages onto cases.

Once a message has been scheduled, we can choose to reject it if we change our mind to not post the message. This is extendable to any post type and possible with extensions provided in the component ruleset.

Cleanup mechanism is in place to purge old messages as the data in the scheduled posts table is scalable.

Key Features

  1. Used to schedule messages to be posted on to a case in future
  2. Manage scheduled messages & reject if you change your mind
  3. Entire schedule information is stored and available as instance of Pega-SchedulePost
  4. Job scheduler in place to archive old schedules that are already processed (default set to delete instances older than 60 days)
  5. Can be enabled / disabled for various post types (posts, private, etc) with an extension
  6. Channel is recorded as "Scheduled" for messages that are posted through scheduling and a icon is displayed to differentiate message from manual / email channel posts
