About Report Definition rules

Purpose

Clicking the Include a Chart button on the Design tab or the Add or Edit chart command in the Report Viewer opens the Chart Definition dialog, which lets you display report results in a chart. 3/31/10

This tab is only enabled for Summarized reports. GATZH 3/30/10

Note that Summarized reports contain two types of columns:

NoteUser workstations retain chart images in the browser cache. When testing charts with Internet Explorer, select Tools> Internet Options > General and click Delete Files to clear the Temporary Internet Files cache to ensure that you see up-to-date chart output.
