Configuring system responses for the Facebook channel

Each Facebook chatbot definition contains four predefined system responses to user input. You can modify these responses to fit the needs of your organization.

Note: To use Pega Intelligent Virtual Assistant for Facebook in your application, you must obtain and install the Facebook channel component from Pega Exchange.
  1. Open a Facebook channel interface. For more information, see Configuring the Facebook channel.
  2. Click the Behavior tab.
  3. In the System Responses section, click the Configuration icon for one of the four system responses.
  4. From the Response type list, click a response type.
    • If applicable, in the Response text field, enter or modify the text for the response.
    • If applicable, click Add response, to add a response as a menu item.
  5. Click Submit.
  6. Click Save.
