Configuring a question in the Facebook chatbot preview console

When you enter a command in the preview console for a Facebook channel, the chatbot can open a case for the command and ask a question as a response. To improve the responsiveness of the chatbot, you can define the question that is displayed in the preview console.

To use Pega Intelligent Virtual Assistant for Facebook in your application, you must obtain and install the Facebook channel component from Pega Exchange.

  1. In the preview console, enter a command or a greeting message.
  2. Display the chatbot details by turning on the Show analysis switch.
  3. Configure a question:
    1. In the Ask section, click the Gear icon.
    2. In the Question text field, edit the question.
    3. Optional: In the Map answer to property field, select a property to which you want to map the answer.
    4. Click Save.
