How to complete the History tab of a Data form |
Forms for many Data- classes include a uniform History tab. Follow these instructions to complete this tab.

Enter text describing this data instance. This field may appear in list view reports. |
Usage |
Optional. Enter text for later reference describing any special considerations, usage, or other facts about this instance. This field rarely is included in list view reports. |

Add |
Date, time, and Operator ID of the user who created this instance using the New or Save As operation. |
Update |
Date, time, Operator ID of the user who most recently saved this instance. |
Move |
Date, time, Operator ID of the user who most recently imported this data instance using the Import Archive tool. |
History Details... |
Click to display in a new window the previous history of this instance (since it was created in or moved to the current system). On the History Details window, click the Add Memo button to a row to the history. Enter a short memo or note. Using the optional security audit feature, your application can present, in the History Details display. details about which values were added, updated, or removed from the data instance. See How to enable security auditing for rule or data changes. |
By default, the system stores history instances for data
objects as rows of the pr_history_data
table.
