An Enterprise Content Management system is a software and database application that managing the capture, storage, security, revision control, retrieval, distribution, preservation and destruction of documents and content, including unstructured content.

Process Commander can connect to ECM systems such as FileNet, Hummingbird, IBM DB2 Content Manager and others through an optional component that connects to IBM's WebSphere Information Integrator Content Edition (IICE).
