An identifier is a text string value that meets criteria established in Java language specifications:

• Start with a letter
• Contain only letters, digits, and underscore characters
• Do not match Java keywords

For Process Commander, the restrictions are similar, except that a dash character (-) is used instead of the Java underscore character ( _ ).

Property names, certain property values and key parts in Process Commander applications must meet these requirements.

To place such restrictions on values of a property, set the property type to Identifier.
