J2EE Connector Architecture (JCA) is a Java technology providing connectivity between J2EE application servers and other enterprise information systems (EIS).

The architecture specification was developed by the Java Community Process as JSR 112. For more information on the architecture, seejava.sun.com/j2ee/connector.

Using Connect JCA rules, a Process Commander application can connect to external systems through JCA adapters.
