The Resource kit, a directory on the installation media, contains useful files, documents, and utility programs that are available but unsupported — not part of the official product offering.

The Resource kit includes these files:

• A stand-alone ActiveX control installer (OCXInstaller.zip). Unzip this file into a local directory and follow the directions in the readme.txt file.
• A ZIP archive for the PegaEnvStatus RuleSet, which can send periodic email messages about system status
• an Upgrade Readiness tool, for diagnostics when upgrading from V4.2 to V5.X.
