About Form rules

Extraction

Form rules are one form of static content — rules that do not depend on clipboard values. When a requestor first references this form, Process Commander extracts the file into an appropriate Web server directory on the server. It determines a destination directory from the a hash code based on the requestor's RuleSet list. Later requests for the same file are fulfilled from the file system copy.

Clearing the static files cache to re-extraction

If authorized, you can use the System Management application to delete all extracted static files from the HTTP server directory structure (on a specified node), forcing them to be extracted again on demand.

  1. Select Tools > System Management Application to start the System Management application. You may be prompted for authentication credentials.
  2. On the System Management form, select a node.
  3. Select Advanced > ETier Static Content Management from the System Management application menu.
  4. Click the  Delete Rule-File and ServiceExport   button.

Parent class
