About Method rules

You cannot update methods, create new methods or override standard methods. The New, Save, and Save As buttons are not available from the Method form.

Method rules define the Process Commander methods you can use in steps of activities and Parse Structured rules.

About seventy standard methods are available for your use. For an explanation of each, see the links in Methods by Name. Use the Methods by Function topic to find a method when you don't know its name.

When creating a custom rule type, you can associate the Rule instruction with an activity that implements runtime behavior of the new rule. See How to create a custom rule type.

Methods are instances of the Rule-Method rule type.
