PegaRULES Process Simulator — Basics

PegaRULES Process Simulator, a complementary product offering to PegaRULES Process Commander, allows flow rules to be simulated under various conditions of work object arrivals (demand) and staffing levels (supply).

Within Process Commander, simulator features are visible to those who can access the PegaForecaster RuleSet. Consult the PegaRULES Process Simulator User Guide for more information.

To create or review simulation rules, access the Simulation Scenario facility on the Process slice (). Generally, you do not use the rule forms to create rules for PegaRULES Process Simulator.

Field or Link	Description
Scenario	To send an existing scenario rule (and the rules it references) to your Process Simulator client. Select the Scenario name and click the  Simulate...   button. You can also start a simulation directly from the Explore tab of a Flow form.
New Scenario...	To define a new scenario, identifying all five elements. The result is saved as a Simulator Scenario rule type.
Scenario Definitions	To list existing Simulator Scenario rules available to you.
Arrival Patterns	To list existing Simulator Arrival Patterns rules available to you.
Resource Definitions	To list existing Simulator Resource Definition rules available to you
Packages	To list existing Simulator Package rules available to you.
