Use the Application Inventory tool to
produce an HTML document identifying all the rules in an
application, sorted by Applies To class.
Rules that apply to any class appear in the Additional Rules
section at the end of the display.
To identify which rules belong to the
application, the inventory tool uses the same algorithm as the
Application Explorer. You can adjust your application rule,
current work pool, or access group before using this tool.
Starting the Application Inventory
tool
To use this tool:
- Select Application > Inventory to
generate the inventory document. Generation may take a few
minutes.
- Click a plus sign to identify the RuleSet and version
of each rule.
- Click a rule name to open the rule.
Understanding which rules are
included
Which rules the Application Inventory presents depends on
the application rule identified in your access group. In some
situations, the criteria may include rules that you do not
consider part of the application, or may exclude others you
expect.
- The Application Inventory includes rules for
RuleSets listed in the application rule identified in the
Access tab of your access
group.
- The Application Inventory does not include rules
checked out to you, nor rules in RuleSets listed in the
Production RuleSets array of the
Access tab.
- Rules from RuleSet versions referenced by an access
group in the Requestor Type data instance, Organization
data instance, or Division data instance are not included,
unless they also appear in the application rule.
- Rules from RuleSet versions listed as a prerequisite
application rule in the application rule are not
included.
- Class rules in any of the included RuleSets are listed
even when no other rules apply to that class.
