Step 1 Completing the Define Properties form

Description

Select a RuleSet for the new properties.

Select a version number of the RuleSet for the new properties.

Complete the following fields for each property you want to create. Order is not significant.

Enter a short description that describes the new property.

Enter a name to identify the property. Use names that start with a letter and include only alphanumeric and dash characters. See Entering identifiers.

For additional restrictions and advice on best practices, see Property rules — Completing the New or Save As form.

Select a mode for the property. After you create a property rule, you cannot change the mode. You can't create properties of Java Object modes with this wizard.

Select a type that further defines the mode.

Click  Finish   when you have completed all desired rows and do not want to supply initial values for any Single Value properties. A confirmation form lists the properties created.

Select to review your entries before finalizing. If you want to make changes, select  Back  .

Select to exit the wizard without saving your entries.
