Printing on multiple printers

The standard activity Data-COS-.COS-Print controls printing. If your correspondence will be printed on any one of multiple printers depending on the addressee, sender, date, or other factors, your application can compute the printer name. Q-1391 PEPEN

1. Define multiple printers through COS Printer data instances, associating each with a Windows network queue.
2. On the Corr tab of the correspondence rule, leave the Designated Printer field blank.
3. Create a custom property to hold the printer name, using for example a class derived from the Data-Corr- class.
4. Compute the target printer name when the facts are available to supply the PrinterName parameter when calling the COS-Print activity.
