Management beans or JMX Management Beans are the objects in a J2EE technology that allows applications to expose operational facilities in accord with the Java Community Process standard JCP-160. This standard is informally known as Java Management eXtensions or JMX.
In Process Commander 5.2, the System Management application uses management beans to obtain status information and instructions to and from the Process Commander server software on each node.
Management beans are sometimes called MBeans. C-2101 Don't confuse MBeans with MDBs (message-driven beans), a separate facility.
