About Application Use Case rules

Field

Description

Trigger

Enter the event method that triggers the use case, such as Phone, Letter, Email, SWIFT, or Web Browser.

Est. Development Effort

Select the development effort required to complete implementation of the use case. Values are High, Medium, and Low.

Actor

Select the primary actor for the use case. Click to add additional actors.

On Behalf of

Select the actor who performs the work on behalf of the primary actor.

Business Objective

Select or enter an objective.

Description

Enter freeform details that describe the steps involved in completing the use case, the applicable edits, and expected behavior. Do not enter information about exception paths for the use case. Those are defined by other use cases in the application.
