Back Forward Setting preferences for the Class Explorer

Purpose

Process Commander contains hundreds of standard classes; your system may contain dozens more to support your application. The Class Explorer can present the entire class structure, or only portions of the structure of that you access most often. PROJ-118 MELLJ 5.3

For example, if your class hierarchy contains a top-level class named DeltaCo- that is a parent or ancestor class to the others you want to access with the Class Explorer, you can choose to display only that portion of the tree.

Access

To review or update the top-level classes that appear in the Class Explorer drop-down list:

  1. Select Preferences from the Designer Studio profile menu.
  2. Open the View preferences panel.
  3. Click  Class Explorer in the Customize control group.
  4. Complete the panel that appears. Select a checkbox for each base class (for example @baseclass, Assign-, or Work-) or other top-level class (for example DeltaCo-) of interest. Select at least one class.
  5. Click  Save.

Tip

TipSelect fewer top-level classes to allow the Class Explorer to initialize faster.
