Symptom

The instructions column of row on a worklist or on a workbasket listing contains a message that starts with the word Error:.

Error: Harness Fail

Analysis

The assignment instance was valid when it was created, but some aspect of the assignment is no longer valid. For example, the assignment may reference a service level rule that cannot be found. The assignment may reference a task in the flow rule that no longer exists in the flow rule. The assignment may reference a work object that has somehow been deleted from the system.

Action

1. Research the condition described in the message.

2. If you are able to make changes to rules, data instances, or work objects that result in the assignment becoming valid again:

3. If you are unable to change rules, data instance, or work objects to make the assignment valid, you can delete the assignment. Deleting the assignment does not resolve the work object nor restart flow execution.
