A Dynamic System Settings data instance has two key parts:

| Owning RuleSet | A RuleSet associated with this setting. For example, the Pega-ProCom agent maintains instances that contain Pega-ProCom as an Owning RuleSet value. |
| Setting Purpose | An arbitrary name distinguishing Dynamic System Settings data instances associated with one Owning RuleSet. |
Many Dynamic System Settings data instances are
created automatically during installation. Others can be created by an
activity that uses the PRSystemSettings interface in the
