Use the Service tab to identify the external content management system with which this connector rule communicates.

Service Type

Select Atom or SOAP to define which type of data instance is used to provide the endpoint connection information (Data-Admin-Connect-AtomServer or Data-Admin-Connect-SOAPServer).
Server Instance SmartPromptSelect the individual data instance of the type selected above used to provide endpoint connection information.

Timeout

Optional. Enter the number of milliseconds after which this rule times out with a failure message if no response arrives from the external system. Enter zero or leave blank to wait indefinitely.

This field is disabled and ignored at runtime when the Intended for field is set to queuing.ABLAL 11/14/08

 Service

Field

Description
Repository Name

SmartPromptSelect the specific repository in the external content management system to connect to.
Repository ID

Displays the unique identifier for the selected repository.

 Testing and Simulations

After you complete and save this rule, click to test whether Process Commander can connect to the external system.
