ActiveX controls

ActiveX control is Microsoft's term for a Windows file format containing executable code and called by an executable program such as Internet Explorer rather than by the Windows operating system itself. The file type is OCX.

PRPC includes twelve ActiveX controls digitally signed by Pegasystems Inc. Application users may require none or up to seven of these, depending on the application design. PRPC also depends on other ActiveX controls provided by Microsoft.

Firefox, Chrome, and Safari browsers do not support ActiveX controls.
