Integrator shape

An Integrator shape, represented by the shape in a Visio presentation of a flow rule, is an activity that connects your PRPC application to an external system.

For example, a work item reaching an Integrator shape in a flow diagram may execute an activity that automatically queries an external database to obtain current prices or current inventory levels.

For flows edited with Process Modeler, the shape is used. The Integrator symbol appears within the shape.

The corresponding Activity Type is Connect.
