Complete the Authentication Profile tab to load the certificate file into the data instance.

Field

Description

Authentication Scheme

Select an option:

  • Basic to pass HTTP Basic authentication credentials or
  • NTLMv1 or NTLMv2 to supply NT LAN Manager version 1 or version 2 credentials.
  • OAuth to pass an OAUTH authentication profile
User Name

If you are using a Basic or NTLM scheme, enter a valid user name for the scheme.

Password

If you are using a Basic or NTLM scheme, enter a password that is valid for the user name you provided.

OAuth Client If you are using OAuth, select an OAuth Client from the options provided.
Domain

NTLMv1 or NTLMv2. Enter the domain of the user account specified in the User Name field.

Host Name

NTLMv1 or NTLMv2. Enter the host name of the server to which the request is being sent

Preemptive Authentication

Check this checkbox to have the system send the basic authentication response even before the server gives an unauthorized response, thus reducing the overhead of making the connection.
