On the Mobile tab, you have the option to access your application on a mobile device using the Pega 7 mobile app, or to create a custom branded mobile application using the fields on this tab.

By default, the The Pega7 mobile app available in iTunes and Google Play radio button is selected, indicating that your application is designated to be accessed using the Pega 7 mobile app. The Pega 7 mobile app is available for download from the Apple iTunes and Google Play app stores using the respective QR codes and links displayed on this tab.

Selecting the other radio button, Custom mobile app specific to this PRPC application, allows you to create a custom hybrid mobile application that uses non-Pega branding. This help topic details the fields that display after you select this radio button.

You must have a license for Pega Mobile in order to create a custom hybrid mobile application on the Mobile tab. Without this license, you can only use the default Pega 7 mobile app to access your application on a mobile device.

See PDN article How to build and brand a hybrid mobile application for detailed usage instructions.
