note about PegaSurvey accessThis rule type is part of the PegaSurvey framework. Survey rules are available to those having access to the PegaSurvey RuleSet.

Although developers can work directly with survey rule forms, Pega recommends creating and managing surveys through the My Surveys tab on the Survey Management landing page.

Access the landing page by selecting > Survey Management > My Surveys.

Survey rules organize questions and question pages for efficient presentation and reuse in flows.

The survey is the top-level rule in a PegaSurvey structure, although surveys can be organized into survey groups. Within a survey you include at least one question page, a group of questions (there are two types, Simple and Complex) usually related to some single category of information.

Where referenced

When a survey is ready for use, a developer needs to include it in an application flow so it is available to an end user. See How to include a survey in a flow.

Access

If you have access to PegaSurvey, both developers and managers can create, update, and execute surveys. Although developers can work directly with survey rule forms, Pega recommends creating and managing surveys, and their components, through the My Surveys tab on the Survey Management landing page. Instructions for that tab provide guidance on creating and deploying surveys.

Access the landing page by selecting > Survey Management > My Surveys.

Category

Survey rules are instances of the Rule-PegaQ-Questionnaire class. They are part of the survey category.
