Adaptive Models Schema Migration

The Adaptive Models Schema Migration landing page provides access to the adaptive model migration wizard. The wizard allows you to copy and convert models stored in other ADM server other than the one the Pega 7 system connects to. You can run this wizard multiple times against different servers, but it is a best practice to perform an initial analysis of the models to be migrated and converted because the migration process wizard overwrites the models in the target ADM server. The ADM schema migration process converts models from releases previous to Pega 7.1.7. If you are migrating from releases previous to Pega 7.1, you need to run this wizard before running the adaptive model migration wizard provided by the PegaBC application, as the operation of the adaptive model migration wizard only affects adaptive model rules by converting the IS behavior dimension information to IH outcome.
Access this wizard by selecting the > Decisioning > Migration > Adaptive Model Schema Migration menu item.
Available in applications that have access to the Decision Management rule sets or in applications built on PegaDM.
Follow these steps to migrate adaptive models to the Pega 7.1.7 ADM server:
In the Connection details step, provide the host name and port of the ADM server previous to Pega 7.1.7.
The target server for the migration wizard is automatically inferred from the ADM connection configuration.
In the Review and migrate step, check the list of adaptive models to be migrated. Click Migrate to convert the adaptive models.
When the migration process is complete, the Migration Report step displays the results of running the wizard and conversion process.
