attachment type

An attachment type defines the media and format of items that users attach to work in your application. It is implemented in your application as a class that inherits from Data-WorkAttach-. The following standard attachment types are supported:

• Notes that contain only text.

• Screen capture images.

• Uploaded files of any type.

• TIFF files created by Pega Document Scanning or the Image Viewer feature.

• A single URL.

• Content that is saved in an external, Enterprise Content Management system.
