system key performance indicator (KPI)

In the Alert log, the system KPI value is the measured value (in milliseconds or bytes) recorded by the alert, which exceeds a threshold value.

For example, the alert PEGA0002 occurs when a commit operation for the PegaRULES database exceeds a threshold interval; the default setting is 500 milliseconds or half a second. If the measured elapsed time for a specific commit operation is 780 milliseconds, the alert event is added to the log. The KPI Value is 780.
