Complete the Short Description with text that identifies this node uniquely to system administrators and others who use this node. The Short Description (property Data-Admin-Nodes.pyLabel), rather than the hexadecimal Node ID value, appears in various places to identify this node. For example, the footer of the default log-in form displays the Short Description text. For more information, see How to modify the splash image and log-in form.

Field

Description
System Name

Read-only. System name of the current system, as recorded in the System data instance.

Node Name

Read-only. Server name in the network; not necessarily unique.
Generated Java directory

Read-only. Path where generated Java files for this node are saved.
Node Description

Optional. Enter text to appear on the Systems Nodes Detail display. You can include HTML markup such as <B> and <H3>, and <IMG> tags to local images and links.

This HTML text is not processed by stream processing. Do not include directives or JavaServer Pages tags.
