PegaIMAGE Manager® (PIM) is an optional product that provides image retrieval and distribution services to a workflow. PegaIMAGE Manager is a high-performance, distributed, enterprise-wide image management system, written in Java and operating as a Web application within a Java-EE-compliant server. PIM can also act as a proxy and caching server to provide access to third-party digital image repositories and image archives.
The PegaIMAGE Manager can retrieve an image (such as a TIFF file representing a fax, or a scanned letter or receipt) from an external archive, display it on a workflow form, and incorporate it within correspondence for display or distribution.
A SOAP connector is used for communications with PegaIMAGE Manager.
