prconfig.xml file

The prconfig.xml file defines installation and operating parameters for a Pega 7 Platform node, including:

• Location of the PegaRULES database and other databases
• Timeout intervals
• Java compiler
• Reverse proxy server settings
• Whether features are enabled
• Directories used for indexes and temporary files

In a clustered system, a prconfig.xml file is present on each node. When the Pega 7 Platform is deployed as an enterprise application, the prconfig.xml file is contained in a JAR file \APP-INF\lib\prresources.jar.
