An assignment might remain open for hours, days, or longer. In unusual circumstances, the work item or the flow rule referenced in an open assignment is no longer available. Such assignments are called problem assignments, or assignments in error.
When either of these conditions is detected, the assignment status (the Assign-.pyAssignmentStatus property) is changed to Error.
Problem assignments require review and analysis. Use the reports available from Designer Studio > Process & Rules > Tools > Work Admin > Worklist Assignment Errors to research these issues.
