If you run a rule against this saved test case, and the new run generates results that differ from the results listed on this tab, then:

Description

Result Value

For review only. The value that must be returned when the test case runs for the results to be considered expected. If you make changes here and save them, inconsistent results might occur when you run this test case.

Show Result Pages

Click to see the clipboard pages of the results that were captured when the test case was created.

If you want to use a validation rule to test a property value, after clicking the button, navigate to the page you want to edit and select Action > Update Page. Input the validation rule for the property value using the syntax $[Name of validation rule], and click Update Page. Save the Test Case.

When the test case runs again, the newly generated results pages are compared to the result using your validation rule.
Manage White List

This button is displayed only for activity test cases. Click to work with white listed pages and properties for this test case.

When this button is clicked, the White List Clipboard Viewer opens and displays the pages and properties available to be white listed.

To add a page to the white list, check the check box next to its name. To add a property to the white list, select its page in the left hand navigation and then check the check box next to the its name in the right hand pane.

To remove a page or property from the white list, clear the check box next to its name.

Click Save to save your selections. Click Reset to reset the viewer to the state it was in when initially opened. Click Cancel to cancel your changes and close the viewer.

White Listed Pages

Read-only list of the pages that are currently on the white list for this test case. To modify the list, click Manage White List.

If a page is on the white list, all of the properties on that page are white-listed.

White Listed Properties

Read-only list of the properties that are currently on the white list for this test case. To modify the list, click Manage White List.

If a property is on a page that is white listed, then that property is also white listed, even if it is not displayed in this list.
