Field

Description

Report

Select a Report Definition report to serve as the primary data source for batch process. Choose a report of the same Applies To class as the batch process it serves. Click Params to provide any parameters the report requires.

Batch Size

Enter a number to indicate the number of records to be processed as a batch. The number is more of a suggestion than a hard maximum: batch processing stops near, but not necessarily at, this exact number of processed instances. The batch process then commits all processed instances to the database.

Activity

Select the activity to execute on each instance in the batch. Click the edit icon to the right of the field to create a new activity. If the activity requires parameters, click Params to set the parameters.

The batch process performs Commits at regular intervals, so the activity you choose should not have a Commit step.

Stop When

Batch processing stops when (or near the time when) the conditions identified in this field are met. The stop condition can be a When rule or a Boolean expression. Select a When rule from the available options, or click the edit icon to the right of the field to create a new When rule. Click to display the Expression Builder and create a Boolean expression.
