Adding custom images to a document

You can override screenshots and default images that appear in an Application Document. You cannot customize images in Application Profiles generated by the Application Document Wizard. Screenshots and images are stored in your system as instances of Data-Image-Content.

Customizing a screenshot

  1. Navigate to the Capture step of the wizard.
  2. In the Screenshot Catalog table, use the links in the Override column:
  3. Click Document Now to see your changes in the generated document.

Adding a placeholder image

A standard image appears in the generated document when a screenshot cannot be captured. To override this placeholder image:

  1. Open the binary file rulewebwb.pyDocWizFailedScreenCapture.
  2. Save a copy of this rule into one of your application rulesets.
  3. Click the Upload File button on the rule form to replace the standard image with your own image.
  4. Save the binary file.
  5. Click Document Now to see your changes in the generated document.

Alternatively, you can modify the PegaAccel-Task-DocumentApp.pyDefault data transform to point to a file path and name of another binary file in your system.
