Publishing a smart app banner

When users are accessing the mobile web app version of the app, it is possible to notify them that there is a mobile app available for their application that they can download. This is done by means of a smart app banner, which includes a link for the user to download the application.

Note: You must have a valid, signed SSL certificate and use https in the link displayed in the smart app banner for your app to be downloadable on an iOS device.

To create this banner:

1. In Designer Studio, open the Application rule form and click the Mobile tab.
2. Click Settings located in the upper right corner.
3. Select the Publish to users via smart app banner check box.
4. Upload the icon image displayed in the banner using the Gear icon located next to the Icon for app banner field.
5. Click Save.
