Adding a supporting process to a stage

You can add a supporting process to a stage that runs a flow. By using supporting processes, you can provide relevant actions to users that they can take when a case is in a specific stage.

  1. On the Life cycle tab of Case Designer, click a stage name.

  2. Click User actions.

  3. Click + Add process and select the name of a flow in the first field that is displayed.

Alternatively, you can enter a name and click the Open icon icon to create a new flow.

  4. Optional: Press the Down Arrow key in the Allowed when field and select the name of a when condition.

Alternatively, you can enter a name and click the Open icon to create a new when condition.

  5. Click Save.

At run time, the when condition associated with the flow is evaluated. If it returns a true value, the flow is displayed as an available action in the header of the case.
