Pega 7 mobile application

The Pega 7 App is a native application for Android or iOS device platforms that can be freely downloaded from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store to access and run Pega 7 Platform mobile applications.

Just like the custom mobile app, the Pega 7 App is available from the Mobile tab on the Application rule form in Designer Studio. However, compared to the custom mobile app, its functionality is limited. The Pega 7 App does not support offline applications and push notifications. Its key features are the following:

• QR code scanner - enables scanning QR codes published on the Mobile tab or distributed otherwise (via e-mail or on a web page) to install web applications originating from the Pega 7 Platform, as well as custom mobile apps (native applications to support a specific Pega 7 application) compiled using the Pega 7 Platform.
• Authentication support - enables authentication in the Pega 7 Platform with your user name and password. After you get authenticated, the application stores your credentials and logs you in automatically.
• Multiapp capability - enables installing several web applications within one native container and switching between these web applications without the need to exit to device's application list.
