Downloading a binary file
After creating the build of the custom mobile app in the Designer Studio, an option is displayed that prompts you to download the app binary file containing the packaged, branded app.
On a desktop or laptop computer:
- Right-click and copy the download link.
- Send it out via email or distribute otherwise.
On a mobile device:
- Tap the link on publish banner to initiate a download to the mobile device. Make sure the Publish to users via smart app banner check box is enabled for this application.
- After the download finishes, upload the app onto a distribution mechanism separate from AMP Manager.
Note: Unique download links are generated for the respective iOS and Android app builds. Do not share a specific download link across different platforms.
