Configuring password enforcement

Enable password enforcement to password-protect a custom mobile app and provide extra protection for local data. To shorten the app initiation time and make the application more user-friendly, disable password enforcement.

1. In Designer Studio, open the application.
2. On the Mobile tab, click Custom mobile app.
3. In the pane on the right, select the Android target device platform.
4. Expand the Advanced section:
   • Select Enforce user password on start to password-protect application data. The user must enter a password each time the application starts.
   • Clear Enforce user password on start to build an application that does not require a password to start.
5. Click Save.
