Making a question required in a survey

You can make a question required so that users must provide an answer before submitting the survey.

1. Click Designer Studio > Survey Management, and then click Edit next to the name of a survey that has at least one question page defined.

2. Expand the name of a question page, and then click View/Edit next to the name of a simple question.

   You can make a complex question required by adding validation to the survey.

3. In the Edit Simple Question dialog box, expand the Options section.

4. Select the Required check box.

5. Click Save to close the Edit Simple Question dialog box.

6. On the Survey Builder page, click Save.

Note: This functionality is available when you purchase and install the PegaSurvey application.
