Adding custom images to an application document

1. Open the Document Application tool by clicking Application > Tools > Document from the Designer Studio menu.
2. Click Application Document, or select an existing application document from the Saved document configurations list.
   
3. In the Screenshot catalog table, customize images by using the following options in the Override column of the list. If you are displaying images by using the gallery view, these options are available from the link in the upper right corner of an image.
   • Add — Click to upload an image from your local system. The .jpg and .jpeg file types are supported.
   • View — Click to edit the Image Content data instance. You can replace the screenshot by using options on the Main tab of the rule form.
4. Click Generate document to view your changes in the application document.

A standard image displays in the generated document when a screen capture cannot be taken. You can override this placeholder image.

1. Open the binary file rulewebwb.pyDocWizFailedScreenCapture.
2. Save a copy of this rule into one of your application rulesets.
3. Click Upload File on the rule form to replace the standard image with your own image.
4. Save the binary file.
5. In the Document Application tool, click Generate document to view your changes in the application document.

Alternatively, you can modify the PegaAccel-Task-DocumentApp.pyDefault data transform to point to a file path and name of another binary file in your system.
