Removing a specification from an item

In Case Designer, you can remove a specification's association with an item. Removing the association does not delete the specification. This action just removes the link between the specification and the item.

1. From the Life cycle tab of Case Designer, click a step name.
2. Choose the specification that you want to remove:
   • To remove a specification from a step, click the specification description in the right navigation panel.
   • To remove a specification from a user form, click Configure view, and click the description beneath the step name.
3. In the window that opens, click Remove.
4. Click OK to apply your changes.

Alternatively, you can remove a specification from the Settings tab in Case Designer.

1. In Case Designer, click Specifications on the Settings tab.
2. Click the View related implementations icon for the specification.
3. In the Implementations window, click the X icon in the row of the implementation rule that you want to remove.
4. Click Submit to apply your changes.
