Use the Parameters tab for informational purposes to record the name, description, and data type of parameters used in the view.

In most cases, an activity with a Property-Set method runs before the list view rule runs, supplying values for the parameters. Then the standard activity Rule-Obj-SummaryView.ShowView is called, passing the parameter page. For an example, see the PDN article How to use parameters as selection criteria in a list view report.

For security reasons, list view rules that run on a web node as part of a composite application cannot use parameters as selection criteria.

Field

Description
Name

Enter the name of the parameter.
Description

Enter the description of the parameter.
Data Type

Enter the data type of the parameter. Select from string, boolean, and integer.
