Select the Abbreviate Events check box in the Tracer Settings panel under the General Options section to reduce the quantity of detailed clipboard detail sent to the Tracer. This can improve performance of the requestor session being traced so that elapsed time statistics during tracing are closer to the normal value (the values when processing is not being traced).
When this box is selected, some watch variables may not operate correctly, and some tracing features are disabled (such as the Pages to Trace and Local Variables features). Clear this check box when those items are important to your debugging.
If you define a breakpoint or watch variable, Windows returns the focus to the Tracer window (but does not restore that window) when either the breakpoint is reached or the watch variable's value changes.
If you have set watch variables, the system returns focus to the Tracer window when a watched variable appears on the clipboard.
The Tracer enforces ruleset access controls. Tracer output never includes information about any rules that another requestor executes that are in a ruleset other than those checked.
Use of the Tracer requires that the workstation have the Client Side Utilities ActiveX control.
