Advanced settings in Process Modeler for the Approval shape

Some advanced settings for the Approval shape are not displayed in Case Designer. You can access these settings in Process Modeler by double-clicking the Approval shape in a flow diagram.

The following table describes the advanced settings in the Subprocess details section of the property panel.

Description
Approval to be completed by

Select a user from the list to assign the case for review. Options include:

  • Work group manager — The manager of the work group that is defined in the Work group field on the Operator ID form of the user who is currently processing the case.
  • Cost center manager — The manager defined in the Cost Center Manager field on the Organization Unit form.
  • Operator — The operator ID of a user who has access to the application.

Approval Section

Enter the name of a section that is displayed in the assignment that is routed to a user.
