Complete the Workbasket tab to specify the location of this work queue within an organization and associate it with a work group so that assignments can be routed to it.
More than one workbasket can be associated with an organization unit, and more than one workbasket can be associated with a work group.
In the General section, specify whether this work queue is configured to be used with Robotic Process Automation (RPA). For more information, see Robotic Process Automation .
Complete the following steps:
From the Type list, specify whether this work queue is robotic or not.
In the Maximum queue length field, enter the maximum number of assignments that should be in the work queue at any time.
If the number of queued items exceeds this threshold, the queue turns red on your Pega Robotic Automation Management Console, indicating that assigned robotic automation Virtual Machines (VMs) are not keeping pace with the incoming rate of work. You can change this value in the Robotic Automation Management Console.
In the Maximum automation execution time (seconds) field, enter the amount of time that the VM is expected to take to run the automation that is specified on the assignments in this work queue.
If the VM takes longer to run the automation than this value, the VM turns red in the Robotic Console, indicating that an administrator might need to investigate issues with the VM.
You can change this value in the Robotic Console.
In the Organization section, specify the organization details.
In the Name field, complete one of the following tasks:
Specify the name of the organization that uses this workbasket.
Create a new organization by clicking the Open icon .
In the Division field, complete one of the following tasks:
Specify the name of the division that uses this workbasket.
Create a new division by clicking the Open icon .
In the Unit field, complete one of the following tasks:
Specify the unit that uses this work queue.
Create a new unit by clicking the Open icon .
In the Work Group field, complete one of the following tasks:
Optional: In the Contacts field, complete one of the following tasks:
Typically, the email message indicates that the work queue contains a new assignment.
Contact information can also be useful as guidance to application developers.
Optional: In the Roles field, complete one of the following tasks:
Only users with at least one of the roles listed can retrieve an assignment from this work queue.
