Increasing column lengths

You can increase the text column lengths on the Schema Tools landing page.

Caution: A column's length cannot be decreased after it has been increased.

1. Click Designer Studio > System > Database > Schema Tools.
2. Select a column from the database schema display.
3. Click Edit.
4. Enter the new length. It must be greater than the current length.
5. Click Submit.
