Linking development changes to PMF
Use the Project Management area of the form to link your development changes to items in your. Project Management sections are available on New, Save As, and Check In dialogs and enable you to:
- Capture project items related to rule changes.
- Allow you to enter the amount of effort spent and remaining for a task or bug.
- Create development notes for all items.
These options are available only if your application is enabled for Project Management tracking.
- From the Project Item list, select from the list an item that you want to associate with this rule. This list is populated from your Project worklist. If you selected a bug or task, complete the following steps.
- Enter the amount of time (in hours) you have spent working on this item since the last time it was updated in the Additional worked field. The time you enter here is added to the Actual Hours of the item.
- Enter the amount of time you estimate that it will take to complete the item in the Remaining hours field.
- In the Note field, enter information describing the work done for the item. The text you enter adds an entry to the Related Updates tab of the item.
- To view a list of record changes for your operator without logging into PMF, start your PMF worklist from the Designer Studio home page and click the View Changes link. You can display a list of your changes from the My Changes tab or all record changes in the application from the All Changes tab.
